Steps We’ve Taken To Keep Car Buying Safe

The world is experiencing some unprecedented interruption to daily life, with the spread of Coronavirus forcing people in countries across the world to remain largely at home, with the exceptions of leaving to get groceries, medicine, and other essentials. From China, Italy, and across North America, following the advice of health experts is the prime directive over and above everything else.

So far, experts advise that when people do need to leave their home, they need to thoroughly and frequently wash their hands, avoid touching their face, and stay at least six feet away from anybody else.

It’s in this context that Colony Ford Brampton has done its utmost to ensure the health of our staff, community, and our customers. Please read on to learn more about all the steps we’ve taken to keep car buying safe.

Classified as Essential Service

The province of Ontario has designated Automotive Service Operations as an essential service. People still need to buy groceries and access medicine, and in a time of social distancing they may rely on their car to do this safely and quickly.

Come search for Ford vehicles at Colony Ford Lincoln knowing that it’s safe to do so: we have currently closed our sales showroom to the public, but if you need a new or used vehicle, book an appointment by calling 1-855-938-0948 and a team member will be happy to help you out.

You can contact us and visit our location, and expect to find us maintaining a physical distance of six feet when you arrive. You’ll also see taped markers on the floor indicating a safe distance where people can stand to practice social distancing.

Service and Parts

Colony Ford Brampton has sanitized our vehicles by wiping them down when they arrive at the dealership and before returning them back to customers. We’re also wrapping the seats and steering wheels in plastic, and floor mats too.

Extra Sanitation

All the high traffic areas in our dealership are wiped clean every two to three hours — desks, counters and waiting areas will all receive extra hygiene. All food and beverage services have also been suspended for now.

You will find increased hand sanitizer on our premises.

Plenty of Selection

Feel free to browse Ford models from the comfort of your own home, as you can see what we have on the lot using our online database. The safety measures we’ve taken are precautionary, but people still need to safely obtain food and supplies.

Repairs

If you’re looking for Ford car & truck repair in Brampton that uses all brand new parts, come to Colony Ford Brampton. It’s never a good time for your vehicle to break down, and right now it’s especially important to have a reliable machine.

People need to know that they can get to the grocery store and pick up enough supplies to last them for at least a week or two. It can be difficult to transport so much groceries without a vehicle, so if yours isn’t working properly, give us a call.

This is a crucial time for people to follow the advice of health experts, and absolutely nothing is more important than abiding by their recommendations. We’ve made the adjustments to keep car buying safe, so if you really need a new or used vehicle or you’re in need of repairs, give us a call today.
